First, a little background on me. I’ve been separated for several years now (working on the divorce thing), have a mutually respectful relationship with the ex, don’t have any children and am not carrying any emotional baggage. I work in the engineering field and have been involved with the development of communities and construction of municipal infrastructure. I enjoy me career (most days) and find the work challenging and rewarding.
When not at work, I try to get into the gym a few times a week, participate in recreational volleyball, play softball on the company team, like to get out on my bike and spend time on my house renovations. My two Rottweilers, now departed, were a big part of my life with time spent on walks along the local trails and just hanging out with friends (dogs will definitely be part of my life again). As for socializing, I enjoy having friends over for a BBQ, a games night or just sitting around the patio.
When on vacation, I like to keep active site-seeing and exploring interesting new landscapes. I’ve travelled to Hawaii, Arizona and California and have been amazed at the scenery. Visiting BC and Europe are definitely on my travel list. My travels do include down time which quite often will involve the nearest hot tub and a review of the night time sky. For a total unwind holiday, I have been known to frequent all inclusive resorts where you can just park your butt on the beech and let life go bye for a week.
As for my personality, friends know that for me a promise made is a promise kept, that solid relations with my family are important and I tend to focus on a small group of close friends. I regard myself as a very honest person (just ask any woman I’ve accompanied on a shopping outing) and expect honesty from others. Sitting and letting life slide by is not in my plans.
The woman I am looking for is confident, sensual, lives life, enjoys laughter, is active and looks after herself, likes to travel and is open to the idea of finding that right man.
