So describing myself has to be one of the hardest things to do. So for the most part I am pretty easy going girl who is looking for that special someone to share my life with. I should clarify that I don't need to have someone in my life but I want to have someone to share with me all that life has to offer. The good and the bad, the ups and downs, the adventures and the simple things in life. My friends and family would probably say that I am a very giving and caring person. I will do almost anything for the people I care about. I love to laugh and find that laughter can even help you get through the tough times in life. I have a bit of a sarcastic sense of humor and so if you can't make fun of yourself, who can you make fun of.....everyone else!! (Just kidding) I love a good banter between people. I will admit that I can be a bit competitive and have a bit of a tough side especially when I am out on the field but I promise to leave it out on the field. Other things that people would say about me...hard working, independant, family oriented, stubborn (it's the Irish in me!), fun loving girl. I'm sure there are a few others but I am trying to make myself look good here!
As for the type of man I am looking for...well he needs to be kind and caring and have a strong sense of character. He needs to have a good sense of humor. His life should compliment mine and yet he should challenge me as well. Open and honest communication is key to a healthy relationship even if it means that we don't always see eye to eye. A healthy debate is always good. I am looking for someone who is emotionally mature enough to handle a relationship but at the same time not afraid to be a little goofy. My schedule can be busy at times and so it's OK if yours is too. I'm not that girl who needs to spend 24/7 with her partner. Quality over quantity. In fact I think it is healthy if we have things/interests that don't necessarily involve the other person. Although it would be nice to share a few things.
As for what I like to do.....I love sports! Whether it be watching or participating, being active has always been an important part of my life. It is something that I would hope to share with my partner but it's OK if we have different interests. Soccer is my main sport but I love hockey, play a little squash, like going for a hike or bike ride, or sometimes it's taking shots on net with the niece and nephews or going to watch one of their games. I am not really into the night club scene. Never have been really. Much prefer going to the pub with friends and enjoying a good beer. And pair that beer with a good steak....now we're talking! I am pretty much up for anything. I like going to the movies, concerts, museums as well. I have not travelled much but look forward to exploring new destinations both domestic and abroad. And at the same time, I like to curl up in front of the fire and do absolutely nothing from time to time.
So I guess I will start there and see where this journey takes me. Hopefully maybe you will want to take that journey with me...........
