Date a man from North Bay, Canada. Okay, here we go. Separated, but still living with ex while we sort out logistics and money. We're both moving on but being amicable, for our two beautiful children while we sort our lives out. Oh yes, this will probably scare off most of you ladies, and I TOTALLY understand. We basically do things as a family during the day and keep it normal for the kids, and do our own thing once the kids are in bed.
I was seeing someone for a while and she was not comfortable with this setup at all, especially since this situation may last for 6-12 more months, depending on certain aspects of my career. Why am I bothering to be on this site? Beats the hell out of me - at the very least, I wouldn't mind someone to spend time with on a platonic level, and at the most, I could handle taking it slow for the next year while I wait for my life to become less complicated.
Now that those painful details are out of the way, a little bit about myself. I'm a proud dad to a boy and a girl, and love spending time with my kids. I am a 100% committed and involved dad, nothing else comes first. Outside of that, I enjoy watching HBO programming, movies, and trivia shows like Jeopardy. I like going for walks, computer games, bike rides, and talking. I really like talking. I love conversation and debate, sometimes too much. I enjoy a good verbal sparring. I've been told I have a good sense of humour, but you can be the judge. I don't suffer fools or liars, and believe in honesty as a priority in a relationship. I am generous but hate being taken for granted.
