We can write whatever we think a person is looking for in order to attract someone. I will tell you that I am honest about who I am and hope for the same coming back. It makes sense to be truthful because a couple of dates in we all show who we are anyway. :)

Well, what can I say about myself?
If I met you in person, I'd probably ask about you first. I don't always need to be talking about myself.
I'm good with who I am and like very much where my life is. I'm independent and can take care of myself. I've been through relationships good and bad and have learned from all of them.
I'm up for just about anything. I like traveling and spending time at my place up north, I like being in the city, I don't complain about the heat, love the Blue Jays and baseball, I work out and play tennis, like good food with good friends and all of the other things that most people say they like.
What else?
I've got great friends and family. I've got amazing parents who are still together that taught me the value in long relationships. I'm a giving person who is happy when other people are happy. I always do what I say I'm going to do. I don't mess with people. I have my expectations in check.
I think life is better when a person is in a good relationship.
I think you get out what you put into things. I'm not afraid of hard work.
I think life is short and not to be wasted.
I don't play video games.
I have no problem showing affection and love to love the one I'm with.
Because I had my two kids when I was young and they are almost to university age, I'm now in a position to basically come and go as I please.
I''ve been self-employed in the music business all my life and have worked hard to get to where I am. I can now be flexible with my time and enjoy my life the way I want.
My place north of Toronto is a year round home on a beautiful lake with great privacy and everything you would want when you're out of the city. It's not a place I need to be at all the time, but an awesome place to unwind and appreciate life in a very different way than what a big city brings.
What am I looking for you ask?
I would say that I am looking for someone I think is cool, up for fun and will give as much as she gets. Physical attraction is important, but I also want to be with someone who can bring it in the conversation department as well. Being friends with my partner is also important to me. I want to love hanging out together.
I think having a partner in crime to live the adventure of life with is a great thing and I welcome it.
Am I looking for forever? Well, if it happens, that would be great. At this point, I'm good with taking things one day at a time and seeing how things go.

Playing sports is great but watching them makes no sense to me, unless it the Olympics or the final game of the year. I have participated in most of the extreme sports including parachuting, motto-cross racing, bungee jumping, downhill skiing, surfing and hand gliding. You have to do those things young when you lack the common sense to talk yourself out of it.
The best investment in life is opening up your mind to the world of travelling. I have had the good fortune to have visited many places in the world with a long check list of places still to see. Life standing still is moving backwards and life is too serious to take it seriously. Eating well and staying in good shape is a must.
