While working for the railway out in BC, in the middle of the bush, in Mount Robson Provincial Park, 40 miles from nowhere....I went 9 monhs without a haircut or beard trim, yes I did have running water and kept it clean (I know some of you were wondering), and my last name is Adams....so, I was called Grizzly Adams for many years, even up unil recently but, I now work in an office with shorter hair and a trimmed beard. One of my lady co-workers one day called me GrizzyBear....I asked where that came from....she advised that I was so kind and gentle that Grizzly did not seem appropriate any more. So she calls me Grizzy. There you have it! :)
