I'm a really easygoing guy with LOTS of dreams and aspirations...Most of which I'm steadily moving toward accomplishing...oddly enough!
I had a bit of a rough road to hoe growing up... I was born with a physical disability (Cerebral Palsy...full disclosure, here), and while it's a pretty mild case now, after quite a bit of improvement, it was not so mild before a few surgeries and years of physical therapy. But with LOTS of Love (some tough, some not so tough), and a few tears (some sad, mostly happy), I've gotten past a lot of the obstacles that really seemed insurmountable as a kid - so much so in fact, that I don't think a single person that knows me even a little, would consider me 'disabled' in ANY way!
Enough about that, though...haha. Ordinarily, I wouldn't even mention it, but I want to avoid surprise coronary attacks!
A TON of things make me genuinely happy! I come from a tight-knit family of four (one older brother, two younger sisters that I had a hand in raising), with a really big extended family...Growing up around that has made me so conscious of how important our loved ones really are...
What really puts a smile on my face is seeing the ones I love happy! I'm really a giver, in every sense of the word. I flip into 'care-taker' mode almost instantly. I'd give any of my friends the shirt off my back, without wincing an eye.
I'm a semi-professional classical guitarist. I take a lot of pride in my craft, and I'm constantly striving to improve myself as a musician and man because of it! It's my passion, and it's truly is the one thing I never want to be without. Music stokes a fire that has been with me for as long as I can remember!
I laugh almost constantly, and a good sense of humour is really important to me...sarcasm, anecdotes...It's all good!
I want to find someone to laugh and smile with...to REALLY complement me. Knowing that "absence makes the heart grow fonder", I want for her to want her independence, have a strong sense of self, and realize that a little 'alone time' is a great thing!
