Meet a woman from Ontario, Canada. A very easy going sporty gal, looking for an outgoing, sporty guy. I'm not sure about this whole on-line thing but want to try it out as some friends have had great success! This is the hardest part though - to write something that might spark someone's interest..not very good at it but here we go...
My friends would describe me as a very friendly, happy, go-lucky gal who does not put up with fake or high maintenance people. I can be a bit shy at first but once I feel comfortable, I can talk your ear off! I spend a lot of time in the gym but I take every opportunity I can to be outside, whether it's running, golfing, skiing, hiking - anything will do. The running is fairly new but just finished my first 10k and hoping to do a half-marathon this Fall if everything works out.Just did the Spartan race in June and I will be signing up again for sure! I spend Tuesday nights in the Summer dragonboating - been on the same team for the past 9 years and have a great time. I play hockey in the winter time - not good but I really enjoy it! Been on skiis since I was a kid - prefer downhill (haven't tried snowboarding yet, said that I would do it one day) but I can't say I'm a big fan of cross country skiing. I will do it but it's not one of my favorite winter activities. I was brought up in an active family as well so I've stayed true to my roots! So all-in-all, I'm very active and have a hard time staying put. My work gets me involved in sports as well so I'm completely surrounded!
I'm looking for someone active that would not mind getting up early on a Saturday and Sunday, heading out some adventures around the city. Whether it's just taking a hike somewhere or simply strolling with a coffee along the boardwalk in the Beach or in High Park. I love to explore the city as there are so many things around us - events, festivals - find it hard to just want to sit back and see it happen. I like to experience it . I also enjoy to travel whether it's going north to a cottage or a last minute trip to NYC. Travelled quite a lot and I take every opportunity I can to go away - yes, the travel bug bites quite often...
I'm not a fussy person when it comes to food. One thing for sure - I could never be a vegetarian. I do enjoy my steaks quite a bit and I also have a soft spot for thai food and italian cuisine. I prefer red wine to white; guinness to heinken; cosmo to cooler. I like to go out for dinner/drinks - I'm prefer pubs to clubs but have no issus with clubs. Love all kinds of music - have no preference - can listen to everything from heavy-metal grunch to classic. My ipod has some interesting collections to keep me motivated while at the gym or during a run.
So that's me in a nut shell - I don't have any kids but that doesn't mean I don't mind meeting someone that does have kids. Actually love being around kids so not an issue at all! I don't like drama - what you see is what you get. I'm not looking for any long distance (unless there are plans to move here).
