Date someone special from Orangeville, Canada. I am looking to meet somebody I can enjoy spending time with whether it be going out with friends, just us, or having a quiet night in. I prefer a manly man who likes to fix things, enjoys playing some sports, works hard and plays harder. Of course saying this, I also need a man who doesn't mind a women who is independent and speaks her mind on topics that are important to her and you must be able to take a joke as I'm quite sarcastic. I also like making changes around the house (inside and outside). I am trying to stretch my comfort zone with regards to these projects and I am trying more jobs on my own...with some advice from my brother in law.
I enjoy cottages in the summer, working around the house and backyard BBQ's. Family is important to me and I enjoy spending time with my family, especially me nieces. I am currently taking a yoga class with my 6 year old niece and I started snowshoeing with my dad this winter. My Mom is always willing to take on a new project with me at my house and my Dad is always willing to reward us with a perfectly cooked steak (after his round of golf!)
I enjoy listening to most types of music but country is my favourite. I watch shows like Missing, Touch, GCB and Parenthood. My days at work are hectic and tiring so I do like to relax at night and take it easy by myself or with some friends. That may include going for a walk, having dinner out or watching some t.v. I'm not a gym person, tried it many times and I just don't enjoy working out inside with lots of people. Travelling sounds great but hasn't really been in the cards for me since I bought my house 5 years ago, other than smaller weekend trips or summer cottage rentals. I would like to change that soon and hopefully can find a travel buddy who doens't mind the march break prices!
I've been single for awhile now and have come to realize a lot about myself. I know what I like and what kind of lifestyle is right for me.
