My name is Barry. I'm twenty years old, currently in my first year of college, and I'm quite enjoying it so far. I'm going to be totally honest here and say that I really don't know exactly what I want to do with my life as of right now, but I do have many hobbies and interests, including, but not limited to, drawing, playing video games, listening to music, watching movies, playing Magic: The Gathering, taking photos a.k.a. photography, walking and bike riding, reading, building computers, and... yeah, you guys get the idea.
I consider myself and have been considered a bit of a geek, as I do enjoy playing video games, watching over-the-top special effects movies, searching the internet for any new technology that's come out, and always carrying my laptop everywhere I go, but I'm totally fine with being called a geek, so... yeah!
Over the last year or so, I've come to enjoy psychology as both an academic practice, and just being something I enjoy researching about during my spare time. I've actually taken a college-level psychology class. Not a full course, but it was still very interesting and very informative to say the least! I'm hoping that in my current college course, I'll be able to take the next level of psychology, as well as sociology, as part of my course.
I've been told that I'm kind hearted, caring, and just an all around good person, which makes me feel really happy. I'm usually a pretty reserved and calm person, but depending on the situation I'm in, I can be a really energetic, outgoing, and outrageous person. Not that I'm totally anti-social and that I don't come out of my bedroom, because that's not the case at all, but I just choose to stay calm, cool, and collected most of the time, just... because that's the way I am!
As you can probably tell by now, I like to be as descriptive as possible when it comes to stuff like this, just because I want the reader to feel like they're actually reading it as if they were talking to someone.
Also, just as a side note, I've never smoked, and I've never taken any drug of any sort ever in my life. The only thing I've done that can relate to this sort of topic is that I've had alcohol before, but I don't drink that often, so... you know, there's that.
