After seven plus years of being single again and taking plenty of time to readjust to being on my own I decided it was time to give love and relationships another try. I am a live theatre enthusiast and I am usually involved with 2 to 3 community theatre productions per season. Though I have been onstage on a couple of occasions my true preference is working backstage as a crew member, assistant stage manager or as a sound or lighting operator. Two of my favorite sports to watch are Indycar racing and mixed martial arts (UFC). I don't really participate in any organized sports however I do enjoy bike riding, long walks with my dog Buddy or a game of pool or a round of golf with friends.
As mentioned above I have a dog named Buddy. He is a 5 year old Jack Russell / Terrier mix. Growing up we always had pets and that has carried on throughout adulthood. I have had cats, gerbils, guinea pigs and fish in the past. All this is to say that my ideal match would also be a pet lover.

I'm a divorced man that has 2 kids....well adults, but I wonder sometimes.....lol. I"ve been on my own for 9 yrs now.....I did meet someone the last time I was on match and we tried to make a go out of it but as time went on and we got more serious....things kind of unravelled. I thought I was done with this midlife dating forum but like that famous line from the Godfather..."everytime I think I'm out,they pull me back in." At this age I understand why people use these sites because it's hard to meet people your own age that are single, and that you are attracted too also,not to mention the intricate meshing of 2 personalities.
I'm reitred now....couldn't say no to the money ;-),financially stable and my one constant in life now is checking in on my aging mother. I like to go to the cottage on the weekends and still love to see a few concerts every year,and the odd casino run ;-).
