Meet a man from Ottawa, Canada. I could tell you that I have a decent job, I’m funny, and I’m honest to a fault just like everyone else on here - but would that really pique your interest?
Personally, I’d rather show you these things about me rather than write them down like an online dating grocery list. Sure, you can analyze my interests and I can analyze yours trying to find things we have in common. But I’m a fly by the seat of my pants kind of guy – and firmly believe that 80% of communication is non-verbal - so I’d rather find these things out during a conversation over a cup of coffee or a drink on a patio.
Flaws, we all have �em. As for me – too often I stay up past my bedtime, sometimes I leave the dishes for the next day, I swear like a trucker when I hit my thumb with the hammer, and I drink way too much coffee.
So now the good stuff. I’m an aspiring writer – currently working on my first novel. I have a good day job that pays the bills. If you put me in a canoe or kayak you might not see me for days. I love to explore new places; it doesn’t matter if they’re in Ottawa, Canada or the world. I like all music and have been known to sing in the car (only when alone and the windows are rolled up) – but I don’t do karaoke, if you want to that’s fine, I’ll hoot and cheer from the audience and maybe, just maybe be a backup singer.
And what about you? If you consider yourself to be attractive, know how to say please and thank you and can carry on a conversation about almost anything then that’s a good start. If you love dogs and children (not necessarily in that order), love to laugh and can make others laugh then we should meet. If you’re more interested in what kind of car I drive, what number was on my T4 or what kind of house I live in then move on - it’s just not going to work out.
