I like cottages, water, swimming, campfires, beach, hiking, bbq, biking, dinning out. I love to travel so hopefully you do too.
You are smart, fun, and not a drama queen. It's not enough to be attractive, you have to be an honest, caring person. You lead a balanced healthy lifestyle like me, which means some excersize, eating decently, and keeping balance between work and play (i.e. more play, but not drunk every weekend!). If you have kids you put them first like I do with my daughter. You get bonus points if you like to try different foods or enjoy cooking (I can a bit), but as long as you like to try new restaurants that works for me too.
I don't have a lot of free time for dating, but when we do go out let's make it great! Also, I don't like to email back and forth for weeks, I want to meet the real you. I do want to take things slow, but if we both love being together, then you could be a keeper :-)

Since graduating from university, I have lived and worked in Japan, went to law school in Arkansas, lived and worked in Switzerland, and practiced law in Texas. Although I don't have a tremendous amount of spare time, I do like to go to the gym and do what I can to enjoy the city. Perhaps not surprisingly, I like to travel too. Typically, I take at least one trip abroad each year -- normally to a place in Europe I've never been or back to Japan for a visit. And when I travel, I tend to take a lot of photographs. In that sense, I guess you could count photography as a hobby.
I also collect wine. Not necessarily expensive or exotic wines, just good wines that I like.
Ottawa can be a tough place to circulate, so I thought I would give this a try. Although I tend to be pretty serious when I'm at work, I like to have a good laugh at least once a day. I'm looking for someone to share those laughs with. If you're a smart, thoughtful, self-confident person, I'd like to get to know you better. Oh, and it would be a really big benefit if you think my jokes are funny. I only have a few. So, low standards in humor would be a really big plus!

. Hey there, thanks for stopping by. First off, I'm a pretty active person. Most weekends you'll find me out and about doing something, I like to be on the move a lot and get kinda antsy when I'm just sitting around. I took up spinning about a year ago and went from once a week, to 3-4x now. I'm at the gym regularly, and am always up for a squash match or a game of volleyball. I love mountain biking and hiking in the summer, and this winter I intend on picking up XC skiing...and maybe downhill.
