This is true but mostly only in places like school, where I'd rather not be the centre of attention. With my friends I can be talkative, silly and my sense of humor definitely shows with them.
My friends also think of me as their personal psychologist. I'm always there to listen and provide a different insight or solution to the problems they face. That is what I am going to school for after all. I like to know what people think and why they think that way, it's fascinating to me.

I'm pretty laid back. I'm not overly picky about what to do, or anything. So, i'll likely enjoy any activity you throw at me. Except sports. I have a weird fear of getting a sports injury.

One "deal breaker" I can forsee is that I want someone I can relate to and this means a certain amount of intellectual standard. I don't want to sound snobbish, but I would prefer to date someone who has been in, or is currently attending University ,or at least considers themselves to be very bright. I decided to try this site because University has proven itself a difficult environment to connect in. I'm really shy when it comes to approaching people so its hard to make friends in huge lecture classes. Hoping I'll find someone who might even be in the same situation as me. New experiences in a new environment are what I live for. Right now I am working on my undergrad and working in research, in between what I am passionate about- travel. Whenever I have the chance, I seek a new experience across an ocean.
Whether I am in the city or another, I always seek out the arts- drama, music, and, in one case, acrobatics. My favourite is jazz- indoors or out. If it's there's a jazz festival in town, you can probably find me there.
I also spend a lot of my time volunteering- sharing my time with a group of girls every week as part of the largest women's organization in the world. This past year, I decided to become a leader with the Girl Guides of Canada. It has been a great experience, and I learn something new every week.
