Ottawa is a fascinating place. Coming from Montreal the pace is definitely different, nonetheless I like it here. I moved almost 7years now, and I always find myself doing something new.
I can spend a day out on the town, rollerblading, taking a walk on the canal, going to a club, or spend a day indoors, enjoying a movie and some home cooked food. I love skating in the winter, and partaking in the various festivals year round. My favorites are Bluesfest and H.O.P.E.
I love watching and playing sports, soccer, football, basketball and Hockey. GO HABS GO!! I am just starting to paddle and hoping to take part in some dragon boat festivals in 2013.
I am big on learning new things, sports, languages; name it I am open to it. I speak French, English. I am hoping one day to be fluent in Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin, Italian, German, Arabic & Russian.
I read a tremendous amount and also write poetry. I Love Shakespeare, hence I named my dog, Lady Macbeth :)
The library is one of my all time favorite places. Nerd much? Yes, and Startrek is one of my favorite shows.
