I try and live life to the fullest. While I enjoy meeting others, I also enjoy quiet evenings inside, chatting over a candlelight dinner followed by insatiable conversation. I often take long walks with my dog followed by a jaunt to Starbucks for an espresso or a chai. I am a proud mother of four beautiful children, three boys and a girl. My children's needs always come before my own, and every ounce of my energy is poured into them every hour of the day. I have always been the type of person who wants to settle down with the man I love in a little house in the country some where. For as long as I can remember, I have always wanted to live on a working hobby farm.
My personal mind set is that of a person from a different era. I feel old fashioned. I like to keep house, raise my children, and for the right man, put a nice meal on the table for him after a long days work. When the house is a mess I will admit that it makes me feel anxious and frustrated and I can not function right until I have straightened it up.
I love making people happy but I also like to be happy and being there for people and try to help out the best I can. I like being the "go to" person. I very much enjoy having many people around especially children, mind you I also enjoy some down time with my family.
I like machines, tools and big toys (dirt bikes, 4 wheelers, snow mobiles) I have a ABZ license and love the feeling of being behind the wheel of a big truck. I like to hold my own, and I am very competitive. I like being out in the wilderness, campfires, chainsaws and what not. I am definitely not afraid of hard work or getting my hands dirty. If I broke a nail,(I wouldn't even notice).

I am a down-to-earth woman who would do anything for my family and friends. I love playing volleyball and I also love my job. I am very independent but I love being treated well, as every person deserves to be. I don't expect a man to always pay, and I am capable of opening my own car door. :) although It's nice to have that offer now and then. I have never been overseas but would love to go someday.
I'd like to think I have a good head on my shoulders, am grounded and have a good sense of humour. I am not too materialistic because I know money doesn't grow on trees. I enjoy relaxing and watching movies or sports on tv or walking around downtown and i really enjoy singing and listening to good, solid music.

. I'm a tall, fairly independent, teacher who loves coffee, traveling and a good book. I've lived in Montreal and London, England and am now back in my home city. I like playing sports and watching hockey. I play touch football, softball, basketball, run and rock climb.

Laughing is one of my favorite activities. If you can make me laugh that s extra. I will adore you more. I completed my studies, I am working and now, I need to find that special someone. . Well this is the piece of this process that I was not looking forward to..... trying to describe myself without portraying myself as arrogant but still highlighting all of my awesome features. Too be honest I am not too sure about this whole process but I lead quite a busy lifestyle and do not have much time to meet other single people so here goes!
My friends would describe me as a very social, fun loving girl with a great work ethic. I have also heard the word feisty used once or twice when describing me but thatРІР‚в„ўs only when necessary of course. I can be quite outgoing when in a comfortable setting yet can still be quite shy at times (however that doesnРІР‚в„ўt usually last too long).
I love anything to do with the outdoors; camping, hiking, fishing, skiing etc…. If I could live in the woods I would, well maybe only in the summer. My second love would be food. I love everything about food. I was a Chef for ten years and while I still hold the same passion for food I no longer have the passion for the industry. Last be definitely not least my family and friends…. my family and friends means the world to me and I love spending time with my nieces, they are an absolute riot and they always put a smile on my face. Oh and definitely don't mind hitting the pub once in awhile for a few drinks here and there.....
