About Me: I do know what I want out of life, work hard, and have goals I'm still working on. That said, I'm very easy going, definitely not high maintenance (my two dogs are not chihuaua's that I carry around in a pink purse lol), I'm the girl next door that can and feels comfortable hanging with the guys, but can also "class up" for special situations. I'm independant; own a home, can use the snowblower and the lawmower (it's surprising how many girls can't!), and will always try to do repairs myself before asking for help (people have been impressed with the things I've McGyver'd together lol). I do like to be active outside, in nature, and try new things (trying to learn snowboarding this past winter), but I do also like to get all cuddly and stay in at times :)

. One of my 'things to live by' is to keep an open mind. I live by that rule every week, so I'm going to use it as I explore this world of online dating.
I set crazy goals for myself. For instance, last summer, it was to swim everyday, and I did except for 2 thundery days. When I was travelling in Wales, I set a goal to climb every staircase in every castle I toured. Conwy Castle ended up having eight, three-story towers. Great views, though. When I was living in Kingston, I was quite taken with the beauty of watching someone kiteboard, so I set a goal to learn. I did learn, but I'm still pursuing the element of perfection.
Things that I find really attractive in a mate? Someone with kind eyes, a generous smile, and capable hands. In that, I mean, someone who can rewire a lamp, or put an extension cord back together that they might accidentally have cut through with the chain saw.
I definitely have an adventurous streak. I don't mind standing on the edge of the Niagara Escarpment; I have this desire to zipline; I'd also like to try scuba diving in warm, tropical waters.
I'm not sure whether my guy is on here, or how we'll eventually meet. But one of my favourite people once told me, "Believe in fate, but stand forward where fate can see you." So, this is me, standing forward, just in case I'm supposed to be one of those happy success stories.
