I am a retired tech teacher with a VERY diverse skill set and live on a drive on island in Parry Sound. I live a quiet life by choice. I have no children or pets but love both. I have a very diverse and colorful past that has helped make me the person I am today. Never been in trouble, just very active.
I keep busy updating and maintaining my cottage and helping others with theirs. My cottage was left to lapse over the last few years and it is taking a lot of work to get it back up to snuff.
I have started a regiment of bicycle riding and swimmming recently. I plan on doeing some serious diving this winter and have to get into good cardio shape.
To much work and not enough play ( or anyone to play with) at this time. Hoping Match will help change that.
I read somewhere that we all have baggage... true but we try to keep ours to carry on size. I truely believe in that.
Over my life I have had all of the man toys any one could probably dream of. I am over that now. "Mostly", I still trade for cool things I want.
I am tall ... 6'6" and have big structure not fat. If that intimidates you please do not follow up.
Sports? I love scuba diving, sailing, boating and fishing. Sometimes even water/snow skiing. I would love get back into rock climbing but have not done that in a few years. I like to ride my bicycle but am not able to where I am because ot the sand roads. I do have a bike carrier though. I walk my neighbours dog about 5 k a day when they are up. I am NOT and have NEVER been a jock.

Someone who enjoys cottage life. I live 8 months of the year here at the summer home. I plan on travelling this winter. Somewhere warm, Cuba, Spain, Portugal, Turks, Belize? Who knows. It would be nice to have someone to go with... Life is completely open and open to change, sideways or upwards only.

Can you cook? So can I, although my specialty is the BBQ and Smoker and stir frys. Took some training many years ago.

July 17, 2012 I am very active now, more so than when I started this "MATCH" thing. Retired... well busier than I was when working. All kinds of people out there need. help. I am a wanabee "Barter King". It does work. The cashless scociety is great. Am getting paid in fair for many things I used to do completely for free. Dinner, Gas, many simple things. Some better than others but I only do what I think will be a challenge and fun to do. Mostly for people who cannot afford traditional skilled labour.
In my main picture I just had a very short haircut and probably could have used hair extensions. It IS growing back.
I am on dial up internet and IM does not work. DO NOT IM ME! If I am online just send me a quick email and I will reply promptly. I am online a lot...
Some people think that I am verbose... I think I am just open and friendly. Sometimes to a fault.
