Date men from Canada / Ontario / Parry Sound, 72 year old

Date single man from Canada. I pride myself as a handyman personified [Bob Vila has nothing on me ;-)]. Actually I am more the Mike Holmes type.
I'm healthy and in good physical shape. Active. Plenty of stamina. Great lover LOL.
Moreso, I want to convey that I am pretty ordinary. Just a "NICE HONEST GUY" which, it seems, everyone is looking for. I'm not a man of the world. I'm not sophisticated. I'm not rich just comfortable and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Basicallyy, a homebody at heart. Would prefer to spend a day doing a project around the house rather than bar hopping or yawning at the opera. Love being outdoors. Can walk for miles, preferably on a beach. Have a good sense of humour (sometimes ribald) and can be witty.
Mirroring this ordinary personna, "jeans and tee shirt" is my normal mode of dress, but I do clean up pretty good for special occasions, although suits and ties are not my comfort zone. The last time I wore a "monkey suit" was to my wedding in 1963 LOL. Probably you could label me a "hopeless romantic". I am a touchy/feely character. Love to hold hands, hug and kiss. Not into too much public display of affection, but will always hold your hand wherever we mosey
Musically, my tastes don't run the gamut of "Opera, Musicals, Jazz, pretty much all genres", as most people seem to say. I like easy listening, middle of the road, oldies from the fifties and sixties particularly Elvis and the Beatles] and have really gotten into country music since a visit to Nashville.
I like to sing, play guitar [around a campfire] and some piano [have a tough time lugging the baby grand outside ;-)], but have never been able to learn to dance. Since dancing is a prerequisite to most women, having two left feet is a physical flaw that, maybe, should be overlooked. Actually I do walk upright and can chew gum at the same time.LOL
This past summer (well it was really September before we got a building permit) my youngest son and I, started building a cottage in Muskoka. The plan is to finish construction next summer, and move in the following year. We have a couple of hundred wooded acres and private lake frontage. It's really beautiful in the summer. Winters??? I'll leave that to the denizens of the forest. If you can wield a hammer, come join me???
Winters find me somewhere balmy. Mainly Florida, but have ventured to other warm climes. Spent this past one in Las Vegas. Managed to return with a few bucks in my pocket. LOL
