When it comes to music, I like classic rock, country and some of the current music - problem is I don't know who sings the songs or the names of the songs, if it has a good beat you can actually dance to chances are I enjoy it. Would like to go hiking and exploring, but where to start? Volunteering is on my to do list - willing to try building a house, serving meals, to start. Wine tasting, well, similar to music, enjoy experimenting, but can never remember what wine it was I liked with what meal. Its all fun, willing to explore and try new things with someone also willing to try new things - and have a good laugh while we are at it.

I bought a road bike last year and the cycling bug has bit me. I have a great group to ride with and can't help hoping to meet someone who might share that interest with me. As for the winter...I am pretty hooked on Skiing. I have turned into a bit of an only ski out west kind of girl. I am partial to Silver Star in B.C. but have skied many places. I wouldn't say I am great but my desire to be out there in the mountains and the fresh air is great. I went out west twice this past winter. By the end I was doing the Double Blacks but it wasn't pretty most of the time.
I love to travel and have had many great trips. Ireland twice, Germany, Whistler, are among my favorite. I like to think that I have found a great balance in life. I love what I do for a living and try very hard to work to live. The nice thing is that I do enjoy my days at work as well. I am a self employed hairstylist and have been for over 20 years. There aren't many days that I don't look forward to. I like to think I have my priorities in order. I have been very fortunate in life so far and hope to continue to make the decisions in the future to keep that pattern going.
My dog is truly girls best friend to me. She is almost 12 and been a great companion. She is a Springer Spaniel, Maggie is her name. She works with me too and all my clients love her. Her and my family and friends are my constants. I am very lucky to have quality relationships in all of those.
I would love to try to describe what is in my heart while I look on this site hoping to find my true match. I am looking for a long term relationship. I am not interested in endless messages without the intent of meeting. I am putting serious effort into finding Mr. Right not Mr. Right now.
I am not opposed to a bit of a long distance relationship with the right person. I believe anyone worth having is worth the effort it takes to find out. I just can't limit myself it would be fair and I'm trying to have an open mind as to where the future will lead.

Here it goes anyway.... I fancy myself as a smart, fun, charming, sexy woman. I love to laugh and have a pretty sharp, quippy and sarcastic sense of humour. Seriously though, I love the outdoors and doing things outdoors, but that's not to say I don't mind staying in to watch some hockey or a movie. I love animals but don't like killing them. I also love to travel, when I can find the time. I'm very easy going, adaptable, dry sense of humour, fiercely loyal and an excellent cook. I enjoy all kinds of music except rap.
