I tend to be a positve person and enjoy the simple things of life. I readily smile, enjoy quiet times, but also enjoy friends and family. I have just recently purchased a motorcycle and find I like being out on the road, but lack some experience. I am working on that. I have a great sense of humour and can readily fit into pretty well any group.
I am a physical person and demonstrates in hugs, or touching and just being there. I love the water so I thought I would try kayaking. I bought myself one last year, but I was nervous about buying one that you sat down in, so I bought one that you sit on top. I could not keep my butt in the seat. I fell out everytime. I think I swallowed half the Ottawa River. I would need to be strapped in.

. I have recently retired from education and am looking forward to the next act in my life. The outdoors makes me feel alive - any sort of water activity in the summer and down hill skiing in the winter. Living in the Kawarthas makes all of this extra convenient. Manage to keep my home in shape with a bit of help from others only when necessary. Like to garden and love to read. Traveling is for education and adventure as well as relaxation. Have studied Spanish in Mexico and taught English abroad. Hoping to do more of this. Would love to hear from someone with similar interests.
. I am a warm, patient understanding lady. I look forward never back. Life goes on and I do not wish to travel the rest of the road of life by myself.
