Since I was a little boy, I was always around music. I played piano until my teenage years when I decided to quit. Not two weeks later, I asked for a violin and have been playing that ever since. Classical music got boring (probably because it gets really hard and tedious sitting for hours learning a 10 page concert by heart) so I decided to take a few jazz improvisation courses at York. Its really fun to be part of such a small community (jazz violin is not so popular amongst the jazz circle, too many bloody guitarists, nor violinist circle, most violinists are classically inclined). I hope to one day conquer this paradigm and be part of shifting it to some new heights.
Being an active boy (such as with sports, etc.) has taught me control and regime. I am a believer in the 'repetition' approach and am almost confident that it is the most efficient way to succeed. I really love training, participating in group/team activities, and being motivated by fair competition. I would love to be able to pick up a new sport with a partner or simply play something that we are both familiar with, such as tennis, volleyball, soccer, basketball, billiards, chess, (favorites being tennis and volleyball) and anything else that can be classified as a sport.
Lastly, I would like to openly share that I am easily excited and very appreciative of simple standards that are code for the method to my life. I can't necessarily say that I am familiar with what the method "should" be, but there are a few things that will certainly sway me to respect and appreciate you quickly which are simply based on how you were raised and what method or standard you live your life by. I am not looking for someone who enjoys writing messages on FaceBook or Twitter or texting on the phone when the other person is not sleeping. I appreciate communication via voice where expression can be understood. (I guess that puts me in the category of 'old, or outdated. Could also be that I misread a bunch of text messages and have unconsciously built up this negative connection with it.) Communicating with someone via written form has its use but leaves out many important things that are essential for understanding (in my opinion). I work a lot but will always be able to prioritize to do the right thing first. I hope you didn't waste your time reading this and enjoyed what you saw.
