I am a woman of contradictions.
I love being a girlie girl, wearing heels and dressing up. But am just as comfortable getting my hands dirty in the garden or building stuff. I know how to knit, bake and shop! – but can also talk about cars, technology and love playing MW3.
I majored in Theatre (as you can see by dress up tendencies) and Medieval History, but ended up working corporate world. I consider myself an artist and love to paint, take photos and writing. . Well, I've been described by friends and family as an all-around great person. Rule of thumb: always associate with people who think you're wonderful, makes life much more enjoyable. I've also been told that I have a fantastic sense of humour. I love to laugh with others but only cuz I wanna stay young 4ever - Ancient Chinese Secret;)
I'm grateful for all the blessings in my life such as great family and friends, my career, long weekends and spell-check. I'm a horrible spell'r.
I enjoy working on hobbies to improve myself such as reading, shoe shopping and cooking. Unfortunately it's not always edible (my cooking, not my shoes) cuz sometimes I get a little too adventurous in the kitchen (at which point I'm also grateful for Take-out.) Sometimes, however, it turns out amazing! (As you can see I'm also an optimist at heart.)
I like to challenge myself mentally and physically and both sometimes at the same time, it's exhausting for others to watch, really. For example I psyched myself into joining the Mississauga 1/2 marathon in May meaning I'd have to train in the winter . . . meaning joining the crazies who run in the winter . . . which I have. Don't judge me yet. I've picked up snowboarding this season and now laugh at the Big-Black-Diamond Hills, sort of. Next I'd like to try my hand at hang-gliding this spring (I have a great insurance plan called HOPE. No seriously, I'm covered.)
Although I enjoy life's adventures/challenges with my crew (referencing friends & family, not into gangs . . . anymore, kidding!) I can't help but feel that it would be amazing to share it with someone who is kind, warm, adventurous, active, a bit nutty (in a good way) and compatible. Chemistry is important.
