I worked as a Professional Engineer for many years, in various place, Toronto, Timmons, Vancouver, Burlington and Hamilton. A few years ago I moved into the Investment and Benefit Business and began to do some Public Speaking. I love to speak in front of an audience. The best part is when I can make them laugh.
I have two sons, one living with me and one who works and lives in Toronto. He is the musician of the family and has played in many countries around the world. Yes, I do envy him. Perhaps it is not too late to learn how to sing or play the guitar. Do you think he would let me tour with him? The other is presently at Mohawk College and doing well.
I enjoy many activities - long walks, dancing (took a few lessons and enjoyed them), tennis, hockey, cooking, boating and talking.
I saw the movie Bucket List and enjoyed it. One of the things in my bucket list is acting in a play - even a small, very small part. I enjoy movies and have also seen The Blind Side, Avatar and The Green Zone. I was happy to see that Sandra Bullock won an academy award for her lead in Blind Side.

I'm a 60 year old..at least that's what my birth certificate says...I am just recently finding out how much older that is than I imagined myself to be. You know the feeling when you look at other people your own age and think they look so much older than yourself? No? You don't know that feeling? hmmmm...just me then...i see myself so much younger than many people my age..men and women.
I lost my husband last August ... I guess he kept me feeling young because dating sites sure are a reality check.
Anyway...I like to socialize with friends and family; I like quiet dinners with a walk on the beach later; I like to snuggle and watch a movie or sit by a fire...outside or in. What I dislike beyond measure is long awkward silences so please if you're really shy don't message me I just can't carry us both!
