I do love to laugh, who doesn't? My friends and co-workers will tell you that I'm smiling "all the time". I'm ambitious and passionate. Up until the last year or so, raising my kids was my priority. They're now grown ... for the most part. My priorities have shifted somewhat. It could be said that my passion is my career and I take pride in doing the absolute best job I can. I grew up on a farm so I have a strong work ethic (thanks dad, I miss you every day). I do love to travel but I haven't had the luxury to travel great amounts because I've spent many years rebuilding my life and being present in my kids' lives. It would be an absolute thrill to explore new places with someone ... maybe someone like you. I have a great career now, and this might intimidate the weak of heart, but not you because you're proud of the woman I've become. When you do get to know me, you will discover my passion is having a balanced, grounded life, and some weeks I'm better at achieving this than others. I re-discovered I like to cook (gasp), but I'll gladly hand this little adventure over to you so I can watch. I've learned to look comfortable in almost every setting. I'm comfortable in a power suit, but my favourite is a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Secretly, I love a good pair of heels, but I'm so incredibly clumsy it's ridiculous ~ especially when I'm nervous (think Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality). My beautiful little family still remains extremely important to me, and I'm truly very happy with my life, but it would be far more fun and exciting with that elusive, special someone to share it with.
