Date a soulmate from Ontario, Canada. I've been away from dating sites for a few years....there's a multitude of things you cannot get a feel for from a photo, like chemistry or personality, so we may pass by someone pretty terrific. All that being said, here goes....
I'll get the basics out of the way first. I'm a healthy, independent woman with a job that I thoroughly enjoy. I have a fulfilling life, 3 great kids (one still at home) and a great group of friends that I cherish. I deal with people straight up and I say what I mean and mean what I say. I enjoy going to the gym (aiming for 3x per week) or do some sort of exercise every day. I enjoy biking - have a road bike and a mountain bike - kayaking, swimming, walking, etc. I'm also a do-it-yourselfer and always have one project or another on the go. I'm not a big planner and tend to go with whatever comes along in my day. Not to say that I don't have an idea of what I want to accomplish in a day, but if something fun comes along that I really want to do, I can be easily swayed :)
I love to travel and plan at LEAST one vacation per year but take advantage of most opportunities that come my way. I can't say I'm one to go to an island and lie on the beach...although I'm not opposed to those types of vacations, but I can only do that for so long as I find it too boring. I tend to like learning about new cultures, site seeing and meeting new people.
As far as what I'm looking for in a partner, well, that's not easy to say. My motto is "Never say never". I don't want to narrow my search so much that I miss a great guy because it "appears" that his life and mine wouldn't gel. I've learned that people can surprise you and when you "ass-u-me"....well you know how that goes. What I know for sure is: I'm not good with laziness or a couch potato; I don't want to take care of anyone; I don't believe in traditional roles; I want someone who understands that my life is as important to me as theirs is; and I want someone who takes responsibility for their actions and has a positive outlook on life.

Meet someone special from Ontario, Canada. I am a happy go lucky female looking for a nice and happy man. I love singing (to myself lol - and in church when I go), playing cards, especially euchre, dancing, laughing out loud, cuddling, going to the races and watching real police shows. I used to fish a lot (would love to go again) and enjoy going to the show. I sub in a mixed dart league on Monday nights, with the realization that I will never make the mil by doing that. I am ok with going out or staying in to watch tv, and am easily motivated to do whatever. I love to go for walks and hold hands, by the water, or just around the block. I am usually in a good mood and find that people respond to me in the same way. I am not a person that likes to argue or fight - would rather talk and play kissy face lol. I am willing to watch any sports with my companion or attend sports live; as long as he will watch my cop shows with me sometimes. I listen to jazz, oldies, Elvis, rock and roll and new country, and enjoy a icy cold beer once in a while.
There is nothing like swimming at night, or sitting in a hot tub with your best friend, all year round with either a glass of wine or water. I am hoping to find some one with a soft heart and who is not looking for perfection, and can laugh at himself and at me. If you have any of these interests please leave me a message.
