Recently single (depending when you're reading this) and figured this is a great way to meet new people.
I'm an open honest and easy going guy (don't mistake easy going for being a pushover.. ) who gets along with just about everybody. I don't take life very seriously sometimes but I'm pretty serious about relationships when I'm in them. I don't 'need' another person to be happy (I like me.. lots) but all else being equal I'd rather do things with somone I enjoy spending time with and care about.
I'm an avid golfer and it would be great to find a partner who enjoys the game (or at least understands my passion for it). I enjoy going to the gym (thank goodness its in the condo I live in though) and staying in shape and again would value this in a partner as it can take up a fair bit of time.
Sounds cliche but I live to work.. not work to live.. thinking about a career change but who knows ? The job pays the bills and I'll be the first to admit I worry more about my free time more than my 9 to 5. That being said I've been with people who are more career driven and I'm perfectly capable of being supportive of someone like that.
Basically I'm pretty happy to accept people for who they are and what they like to do and really just want to be liked for the same reasons (again with the cliches but like me the way I am.. don't try and change me... unless I ask for help of course... lol)

I do consider myself a good guy. Stable and outgoing, Live and work downtown Toronto and love the city, but enjoy getting away up north and doing other weekend events. Have loved the traveling I've done so far and look forward to much more. Pretty easy going, patient, and I have been told, very understanding. The glass in my world is always half full. I love time with my daughter whom I share half the time and get along great with her mom. I am not the jealous type at all but that sometimes gets me in trouble in that I don't care enough. I love the fact that I have kept in contact with many friends from highschool and university and can regularly get together.

Meet people from Canada. I know we're supposed to write these profiles with the definite knowledge that it is a *complete* and *inexplicable* scandal we're still single! :) However, it's not always easy to reduce your life to fit this little text box... so, here goes...
I enjoy great conversation, I'm often 'on-the-go' socially, I participate in a number of sports such as tennis (I’m working on my serve) and golf (I’m working on everything!), and I attempt to eat well (most of the time), but I'm not a jock... I've also become addicted to Dexter and Mad Men on TV but, sadly, I can't get as much reading done as I really want... hmmm, I wonder why?... :)
While I have a professional career in which I am truly very happy (even if sometimes stressed), I do think that a balance between work, family, travel, etc. is critical in life, as are values like integrity and respect. I like to continuously explore new things and ideas (whether through travel or daily life here in Toronto). I also believe that every day should have some humour in it and I'm happy to say that I can laugh at myself, when applicable!
One of my most interesting travelling experiences was at Carnival in Trinidad, where there was nothing but wall-to-wall people dancing in the streets for days. That was a terrific trip!! Only one thing though: I suppose I shouldn't have been alone in a big crowd at 4:00am... the pick-pocket didn't mind, but I did.... Oh well - you live, you learn...
