I paid for this account so I guess I'll keep it up for now but I've all but abandoned it here. It's not you it's me..My friends think of me as a fun guy but I can be a bit quiet until I know my audience. Is there such a personality trait as an "introverted extrovert?" I can intelligently converse and challenge when needed. My favourite response to hearing something I don't believe is "tell me why you think that's so." I'm just as happy to have my own ideals challenged. I think it's ok to earn your way through to what you feel you deserve in life but I just don't care for pushy, loud or agressive people. I have split custody of my 2 kids and consider them the greatest accomplishment of my life. Maybe this is nothing to boast about but it took my kids to teach me the real meaning of love. True, unconditional, selfless love. And not just to love my kids but to love and accept anyone worthy in my life. They're still young (4 & 8)and can be quite the challenge with split custody so their well being comes first and I would happily do without or with less for their benefit. I think most parents feel this way. Having said that, I had given myself totally, faithfully and honestly to my last relationship and marriage but NOW is the time to persue new hopes and dreams so I need to try and put my needs ahead of the queue in order to be true to myself. I love weekend sleep-ins and cuddling under the covers with my kids then getting up and making a huge breakfast; waffles, fresh fruit, maple syrup, etc but when the kids are at my ex's, I have no one to cuddle & make breakfast for!!
What I'm not: A bunjee jumping adreneline junkie or jock/ex-jock who can spend the entire day on the golf course or watch endless hours of football on the sofa. For the sake of something to do however, I would definitely go to a hockey or baseball game and I'd have a great time! Love ice skating, preferably outdoors, and then drinking something hot afterwards. I live, work and play downtown and love the city and all it has to offer but love the country and the outdoors. I'm not possessive, jealous or domineering and I've lived long enough to realise that 2 people can share interests but don't need to share all interests
What I am: An honest guy with a great sense of humour and very simple pleasure points. Am health conscious but not a fanatic, have a car but cycle 15-20 kms a day, 4 or 5 days a week. I eat sensibly and I'm not afraid of tofu but admit being an omnivore. Everything/anything in moderation. I don't want to change anyone but just want to see the real you. No time for games.
