When I am not working at the art auction house, I spend my time with my friends and family. They are incredibly important to me. If I am not out with my friends taking part in some activity, I am at home relaxing with a good book or watching a movie with a cup of tea or a glass of wine. I also try to get to the gym as much as possible and love my yoga class. It will be soon be cottage season and I can't wait to get up north! I also love travelling and have been fortunate enough to spend the last year abroad, and I can't wait to save up enough money to embark on my next adventure.

I find it kind of weird to describe myself on paper so I am just going to list some random facts about myself:
- I love to travel and try new things; I recognize how cliche it sounds I promise it's the truth and will bet that you have it on your profile too! :) Highlights include a recent trip to India, jumping off a cliff in Thailand, and a semester abroad in the Czech Republic.
- I am active but not sporty (aka I run, hike, snowboard, go to the gym, but cannot catch or throw for the life of me). I am currently training for my second marathon.
- I don't get why people are so against Top 40; things are popular because people like them right?
- Summer is my favourite season although Christmas is my favourite holiday.
- I prefer flip flops to sandals, live music to a DJ, cardio to yoga, and the city to suburbia.
- I'm originally from out west and although I miss the mountains, I certainly don't miss the rain. And although I miss Canucks games, I thoroughly enjoy ridiculing Leafs fans (sorry, but you guys make it so easy!)
- I watch the Bachelor(ette); Please don't judge me.
- Approximately 50% of people I meet think I am funny slash witty; the other 50% are now dead to me. (Needless to say, I enjoy dry humour).
- Sometimes I play devil's advocate just for the sake of debate. I love people who challenge my opinions and stand for what they believe in.
- This whole meeting someone online thing does seem weird but hey, what's the worst that can happen?
In all seriousness, I love my friends and family, am career-oriented, and consider myself a pretty relaxed individual. Ideally, I would like to meet someone who is easy-going, open-minded, genuine, fun, optimistic about life, and has an adventurous spirit. I believe in surrounding myself with positive people who always push me to be a better version of myself. I work for a charity as well as for a fitness studio and am fortunate to love what I do, but mostly the people I do it with.
When I'm not busy rocking out a 50 hour a week work schedule, I like to think I'm a little bit of an urban adventurer. I love everything downtown has to offer from festivals, concerts, food, sights and sounds - love it all. I'm a firm believer in getting rid of the poison in your life because if you're not happy, the people you love most will pick up on that energy and then they're not happy as a result. It's a slippery slope. That being said, I don't keep negative people around me. There is a difference between being a sarcastic jackass (which I personally find hilarious...Louis CK is my hero) and someone who is a constant Debbie Downer who gives you nothing but backhanded compliments left, right and center. It's a really terrible thing to say and probably not socially acceptable because I am a "lady" after all, but I have no problem telling those people to either relax or faack off. :s
I have found that I like a more laid back and down to earth personality (I'm sure everyone says that, but I promise I actually mean it). If your favourite bar is a club with techno we will not be a good match. I'm more of a Stone's Place/Gracies kind of girl.
I love all animals and have a really annoying "animal voice" when I talk to them. Fair warning. I don't trust people who don't like animals, I think it's really weird.
I like dinner dates once in a while but I'd rather go hiking or on some sort of adventure. This is only because I think it's really easy for people to talk the talk, but you have to put someone in a "walk the walk" type of scenario to get a sense of what they're really like.
All in all I'd say I'm a pretty easy going person but I'm also not afraid to speak my mind (as I'm sure you can tell haha). I love to sing and dance and just be silly, if you will. I just want to enjoy life while I'm on this planet but I'd also like to enjoy life in space (should I ever save enough money to take a commercial flight) ;)

Day to day, I like to stay active, whether IРІР‚в„ўm hitting the gym to work on my fitness, jogging in the park or playing on rec. sports teams. IРІР‚в„ўve also taken a few dance classes (so far I've tried hip hop - yes, I am both figuratively and literally the whitest girl in the class- and salsa). This stuff usually keeps me pretty busy during the week.
