I have lots of friends here which is great but would love to add a fabulous man to my life - maybe it is you? I am a fitness enthusiast - love playing tennis (although I am not that great), riding my bike exploring new neighbourhoods, hiking and of course walking the dog (doesn't really count as fitness!). A few summers ago I took up o golf and am really enjoying it (although I am really not that good!). I am fortunate enough to have lived in various countries and have travelled extensively. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip through Kenya and Tanzania a couple of years ago and would love to go back and do South Africa. I toured the South of India and other than the food - I loved the experience (sorry but you will have to enjoy your Indian food with other friends :). I have always wanted to do The Amazon and we can return to Italy as many times as you like. Hiking, biking, or just hanging at a beach all qualify as excellent vacations in my books. I have never done a golf vacation but now I think that might make the list

. I am a single professional wIith one adult son. While I am a very sociable person, I do require a certain amount of alone and quiet time. My friends would describe me as smart and funny, loyal and generous. I would like to think that they are right :-)
I love road trips and plan to do many more of them when I retire. Last year I went around the Gaspe, over to Halifax, and back through the St. John River Valley - it was wonderful. I hope to travel to New Orleans, to Wyoming and Montana, down the coast of California - the list goes on. The man I would like to spend time with, and perhaps give up some of my independence for, will be intelligent, although not necessarily formally educated, unpretentious, kind, unselfish, and will have his own interests and friends. He will appreciate my somewhat sarcastic sense of humour and wordplay, or at least put up with it. He should feel comfortable in himself.
I very much enjoy gardening, reading or doing crossword puzzles, and cooking. I enjoy having people over for dinner or a backyard barbecue, with good conversation and lots of laughter. There are many events in Toronto, and it would be nice to meet someone who, like me, would be interested in attending more of them - theatre, galleries, museums - or just exploring areas in and around Toronto that are new to us.
