Let's see. I was born and raised in downtown toronto. When I was 12 I moved to Portugal until I was 18 then moved back to toronto again. Shortly after getting back I moved out to the suburbs (mississauga). I work and live in Thornhill now.
I come from a good family. Half portuguese, half canadian. I have a huge extended family so I hope you like loud boisterous family get togethers.
I still believe in chivalry and am a romantic at heart. I consider myself extremely honest. I never cheat at any kind of game even when I know my opponent wouldn't notice. I'm just a sucker for the truth and have a tough time even telling little white lies.
I've been out of the dating game for a long time so cut me a but of slack if we decide to meet up and I seem like a nervous wreck.
I'm shy at first but pretty funny and talkative once I get comfortable with someone. I love movies, reading, running(maybe love is too strong a word), camping, hanging out at the cottage, museums, etc.
I haven't been anywhere outside the country in a very long time and I really want to start traveling a lot more now.
I guess what I'm looking for is someone with a good sense of humor, has no trouble hanging outdoors on a boat or camping, but who is also a veteran of downtown toronto culture who'll introduce me/drag me to more events/theater/ etc. Someone who can carry on an intelligent conversation, but who can be playful and silly at times too. Im self sufficient, easy going, a hard worker, and very down to earth. I have a crazy sarcastic sense of humor, I'm a joker but know when to be serious. I have been very successful in my past 33 years, and have accomplished a lot. Im ambitous and goal driven. When I set my mind to do something, I always get it done, always get what I want. I'm a jack of all trades, really good with my hands. I'm someone that you can defenitly learn a lot from. Always good at giving advice and opening your eyes.
Im into cottaging, weekend getaways, mini vacations, not that I've travelled much, cars shows, boating, fishing, hiking, camping, basically, anything that's fun., oh can't forget working out and living an active lifestyle.

Call me old fashion, but this was how I was brought up. This does not mean I'm conservative, or any less fun than the other guy. I just take responsibility very seriously, and try to let loose and have a little fun now and than.
I had my fair share of heartbreaks, being too considerate and naive to believe that good things last forever. Although, for certainty, I know where my heart sides when I believe we are meant to be. I would rather have my mind stray on constructive thoughts than the heart wonder.
Needless to say, I'm constantly battling to improve myself, whether it is finishing some educational courses, learning a new language, culture, or religion.
I'm a spiritual person and am trying to attune to the nature of 'SELF'. I've been a Buddhist, Catholic, a Christian to fill my curiosity, to conformity and to make certain people happy. However, I've never resided to a specific religion due to the constraints that these religious endeavours requests. I guess you can say I'm quite the rebel and the Black Sheep.
I am not trying to be a perfect man. I've got my inhibitions and limitations. Like most people, we learn to overcome and improve ourselves. I'm a realist, and have gone through quite a few chapters of my life story.
From some luck, and a stream of emotions, I have and am still building a firm foundation for myself. And in time, in which faith may have it, stand with an equal that I will hold dearly in my heart with respect and honesty.
