I love living near the beach. There's so much to do no matter the time of year. I enjoy snowshoeing and hockey in the winter, hikes and cool evenings in spring and fall. But most of all I love the beach in the summer! I also love patios and BBQs and hanging out with friends and family.
I have a great job and love what I do. I think it's very important to enjoy your career and consider myself lucky that I love what I chose to do for a living.

I love being outdoors! Looking forward to doing some zip lining, golfing, and some serious go karting this season! I'm trying to be more active. Life after army life takes some getting used to! I want to do a complete 180 of that lifestyle. I am travelling on a couple career paths right now one of which is following in the foot steps of my father getting my real estate license and taking over the family business; since he is ready to retire with my mom on some beach somewhere drinking Mohito's and making fun of all the people with jobs...;-)
I am super tight with my family! I see them everyday, wether it be stopping by the house for a cold drink at the tiki bar or swinging by dads office for some casual conversation. It's always fun and definitely always interesting! Somehow when we're together there's always adventure to be had...

Bike rides, concerts, movies, all the best things seem to happen when the sun sets. I even work nights. I actually like my job, but it is shift work so I'm away for 2 weeks, then have 2 weeks free. It makes for an awkward social schedule so I have been known to spend a lot of time working out, playng video games, and watching tv shows online. Oh yeah, I play a lot with computers.
I tend to be very shy at first, but give me a chance and I will grow on you like mold. I'm pretty easy going and will try anything at least once.
I've travelled quite a bit, more of a sight-seer than a beach person. Historical sites, museums, that sort of thing.
Music - too varied to really mention, a little bit of everything except modern country. I've played drums in death metal, punk, and alternative bands and have been fortunate enough to see live classical and opera.
I always try to find the humor in things which can at times seem pretty dark, but well intentioned! People are too accepting of a life where they work and pay bills and take everything too seriously.
I like kids and I like pets. Never had either. Kids just weren't meant to be I guess and pets aren't practical with so many of my close relatives having extreme allergies.
So after all this rambling what am I looking for? Similar interests make for a solid basis to learn more deeper and interesting things about each other. You must be easy going, open to learning new things and teaching what you have already learned. Not too serious! If you've ever called yourself weird, artsy, gothy, a princess, a geek or a nerd.... then you are probably interesting and I would be interested in knowing you.
