I am an independent gentleman (in the true sense of the word as I am a gentle man) but would much

I have an innate sense of curiosity about everything in the natural
world, from biology to cosmology and everything in between.
I love being outdoors hiking, canoeing, playing golf or cycling, or just observing mother nature. I'm also
into gardening. Love music too, from flamenco guitar to jazz to classical to folk.
I enjoy the company of my friends and cozying up to the fire with a glass of wine. I'm more into reading
than watching television. I always have 3 books on the go at the same time - an english novel, a spanish
novel and a non-fiction book, usually about some branch of science. I also love to travel - have been to
France, Italy, Spain and Portugal and all of the countries in Central America as well as many of the Carribean islands.
Still on my list to visit are Ireland and some of the Eastern European countries.
My ex-common-law spouse was an artist and through her I met many of her artist friends. I like
artists - they are normally gentle souls as well.
