I'm currently pursuing a career as a high school teacher. I really enjoy working with teenagers, some people believe that makes me crazy and they're probably right, but I find it a rewarding challenge.
I really enjoy music, in any form it can possibly take really, though Radiohead is a hands down favourite. I’m always looking for new music to listen to. I enjoy reading a lot as well, again no particular genre, just whatever I can get my hands on that interests me really, I try not to limit my horizons (Lately I’ve been getting into Douglas Coupland). I also really enjoy movies and television (my current favourites are Lost and Mad Men).
Should this give the impression that I never leave the house, I’m also a big fan of going out on hikes through the woods (or really anywhere) and I’m looking to do a lot more of that this year. I'm usually up for anything: Museums, Art Shows, Theatre...I like to expand my horizons whenever possible.
As for what I’m looking for, I think it’s what everyone else is looking for: someone you can trust, to laugh with in the good times and support you in the not so good times. Someone to explore the world with. That’s what I’m looking for, and that’s what I can offer.
