I am a mother of four children, you did not read that wrong, four, with a set of twins in the middle (ages 6,9,9 and 11).
They live with me the majority of the time (stay with their Dad every other weekend - this is his choice) and of course they are the most important beings in my life. I am not looking for a casual 'friends with benefits' relationship, but I am not looking for a father for my kids either, a good role model - yes, but I do not expect any daddy duties, you get to be the fun one.
Any relationship that I enter I will take very slow, please don't be offended by this, it isn't you, it's me, I want to feel very comfortable with a guy before they meet my kids and are around them on a regular basis.

I really dislike talking about myself, I would rather someone see what is special about me instead of having to point it out, and I enjoy that in others as well, show me how great you are, don't just tell me about it.
I don't play mind games, and I am not passive aggressive, I strongly believe in honest communication, I do my best to be as honest as possible. I think this is absolutely necessary in a good relationship, you have to be willing to open up and say what's on your mind.
I think my two best qualities are my sense of humour and how honest and trusting I am. My humour tends to come out more, the more comfortable I am with someone, but I am generally always honest... I do have tact however. :)
Right now I work as a freelance graphic designer and as a marketing assistant, it's great fun, I enjoy both jobs.
I have been recently revisiting creating art, trying to draw and paint regularly, but sometimes there just isn't the time for it. I love art in all forms, galleries, museums, theatre, live music.....I find it all so inspiring, it is what makes me feel free, it is so hard to explain but it is like fresh air for my mind and my soul. I love most kinds of music, I wish I was more musical than I am, it's a quality I greatly admire in others. I can belt out a song decently at kareoke. (after a rum & coke or two ;) )
I try to be active as much as I can, I regularly do yoga, I've recently started Tae Kwon Do, I like to hike and swim, I have a bike that I should ride more than I do, I have a membership to the YMCA that I really should use more often than I do. I try to do poi, but I'm not great at it yet.
I became interested in hypnosis after using it for childbirth, my youngest was born at home in a pool, it really was the most awesome experience of my life, and NO I do not enjoy pain.
I became a certified Hypnotist over a year ago. I will not make you cluck like a chicken, but I can help you quit smoking - only if you want to quit though ;).
I don't watch much TV, but I do really miss cuddling on the couch watching a movie with someone special.
(I apparently give great massages and I think I may be a great kisser... I have never kissed me though, so I can't say for sure)

As you can tell from my opening paragraph, I am definitely and optimistic person, I try to find the positive in everything. It can be difficult sometimes, but I still try :)
I am the proud mom of a bernese mountain dog puppy. She's now 9 month old and still very much a puppy! She is great, but has her devilish moments too. She definitely keeps me on my toes and working hard with her to make her a great well behaved dog.
I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. These are the constant people in my life. I think it is important to keep those relationships even if it can be difficult sometimes. No relationship is perfect of course.
I love to travel! Nothing beats seeing new places, exploring new scenery or a new city/village. You get the real feel of the people and culture. I also love to try their food and wine of course. I am a wine lover afterall (especially red, Chianti to be specific. Well, any Italian wine actually). I try to take at least one big trip per year.
I am a touchy feely person, I like to hold hands, give and get hugs and kisses, and just cuddle too. I think a big part of a relationship is physical closeness. I like to show the person I am with that I am happy to be with them. I also like to be shown that I am important to them as well.
I am looking for someone to have fun with, do things with, grow and learn with. I like to be active, but certain things require a partner so I don't do it anymore (namely, rockclimbing). So, if you are a climber, or are willing to try, great! I like to go for hikes/walks, play tennis, rollerblade (even though I am not that good), swim, among other things.
