Well it seems like everyone is on here these days so now that I'm single I thought - why not!
I'm a pretty easy going and down to earth guy. Last year I moved back home from England where I was supply teaching. Although I miss the children and the lifestyle dearly, it really is great to be home. Now that I'm back where I belong I'm looking forward to meeting some cool people and sharing a laugh. Humour is a pretty special thing for me.
I like to be active and I play ice hockey a few times a week. I also have a passion for music having spent a lot of time in university playing in bands with my friends. Those days are behind me but I still play secretly by myself.
I like to spend my free time hanging out, catching up and grabbing a drink with friends.
When at home, I spend my downtime watching way too many movies. Movies are the common thread that everyone loves, right? Good ones are hard to resist, and even a mediocre one is a great way to relax.
I think my friends would describe me as a relationship type guy (don't know if that's true) but I'm not out looking for anything in particular. If anything I'd just hope to meet someone who's honest, kind and up for a good laugh - I goof around a lot.
I also love to travel... but who doesn't?

I have worked at a camp in the Muskokas for the last two summers I was in Canada, running a leadership program for kids 14-16 years old. It is a dream of mine to one day run a camp (my cousin shares this dream to open one together one day).
I most recently went to Griffith University in Gold Coast, Australia to complete my Masters of Teaching for High School Math and Physics. I also attended the University of Guelph for Physical Science, I also took a lot of Music courses (to keep me sane!) and biological sciences. I went to WLU as well for a year of Business / Economics but did not like the business outlook on the world.
I am an uncle of two nieces and two nephews (my two brothers children). They are a wonderful part of my life.
I also have a cat (Han Solo or Oliver depending on who's calling him.. Tell you the weird story later) that spends most of his day outside, he is also very social and like to see what's happening when company is over.
I love cooking, eating, I don't "diet" because I care about myself, and keep a good balance. I am usually quite entertaining :D. But my personality has a lot of colours. Hanging out with me is very easy. I am a very honest and straightforward person. I will usually tell you exactly what's on my mind, and I like to get down to the point of things to focus on what actually matters. Superficial talk and pretending don't go far with me. For example, if you're trying to talk about your career or something, you could actually really be thinking "oh , I'm bored, I can't wait to go home, eat some chocolate and watch some hilarious videos on youtube, then talk to my friends about what we're doing tomorrow". I want you to tell me what you're actually thinking, whatever it may be. You don't have to be formal with me, you don't have to impress me. Be yourself. That's the only thing I care to know- you and your honest self. If we are not talking to each other on a fully honest basis, there is no point....
Values are very important to me. I want someone who is clear on their values. If you think it doesn't matter how many people you sleep with or it's ok to have friends with "benefits" or to "fool around" or any other despicable stuff like that, please move along right now. I'm looking for love. Love is pure and true. I won't waste any time with anyone who is not serious.
It is still kinda hard for me to believe that I have decided to do this online thing. I don't know if it's possible to actually find love like this. But I also know that the right girl may be someone I will never meet randomly by chance, we only meet so many people in our day-to-day lives...People do the best with what they have based on those they meet by chance, and sometimes convince themselves they are right for them.
