Firstly, friends and family are a HUGE part of my life - without them I would be nothing, so whoever the person I'm with has to get along with them.
I'm a really shy and quiet person at first (I'd be the person sitting in the corner of the room not saying anything to anyone) and it takes a while to gain my trust, but once you do it's hard to shut me up! :p Honesty and trust are two of the most important things I look for in a relationship, whether it be a friendship or something more serious so that special someone needs to have those qualities.
I would have to say that I've got two very different sides to me - an adventurous, wild side and a calm, cool, and collected side. Some days I'm one and other days I'm the other. I love to curl up on the couch and read a good book, though I also enjoy just going outside and exploring. Enjoying life to the fullest is something that I value and I don't want to miss out on a single aspect of it.
Humour is another trait that I look for in my perfect guy - I'm extremely sarcastic myself along with my entire family, so a person with dry wit is always a bonus. I've gotten through so many obstacles in my life and without humour I know I couldn't have done so.
I grew up in Mississauga and moved to Waterloo when I was nine, though now I spend most of September to April in Guelph for school so I kind of flip-flop between living at home and at by myself. Currently I'm living out in Prince George, BC working to pay for school next year, but I'll be back home in August.
