I smile a lot and make jokes all the time and make friends easily, but I'm starting to realize that life is short and I want to spend it with people I love who love me and brings my energy up and not waste time on those who are not energizing, not open minded, and not considerate of others. We're sharing this world and its limited resources, we need to be kinder to each other.
I love traveling: being in a new environment and experiencing a new culture and going on adventures is always great...but it starts getting lonely doing it alone ;-) I was recently on an internship in Paris so I speak a bit of French and am quite motivated to become fluent so I can go back and visit the amazing people I have met there and speak to them in their native tongue. That experience has really taught me that there are great people everywhere in the world; you just have to find them. I have friends literally all over the world so I'm looking for someone who's worldly or at least opened to different cultures.
I moved from Vancouver to KW to start graduate school. Once I'm done, I'm moving to a big city and getting into management consulting. I am lucky to be able to study what I enjoy, which is cultures (at work of course).
In my free time, I read a lot about random topics: art, design, psychology, culture, job search, money management (although I am still clueless on how to invest), etc. I also used to be very outdoorsy in Vancouver but find it hard to be as active here besides going to the gym. But recently my friend asked me to join her beach v-ball team = SUPER FUN. And I'm getting a good tan, too, lol.

At heart, I'm most happy when others are happy. I love doing things that make people smile, whether it's making them cookies or just saying something goofy. Don't let my soft side fool you though. I'm also driven and I know what I want.
I've spent a lot of time figuring out what I want to do with my life, both personally and professionally, and I'm not afraid to work very hard to reach my goals. Despite my ambition I appreciate balance in life. Family and friends are absolutely the most important thing in my life. Among the traits I value most in others (and try to foster in myself) are kindness, compassion and a sense of humour. I truly believe in the adage that a day without laughter is a day wasted.
In my spare time I like to keep busy, whether it's taking a hike, trying a new restaurant, or reading a new book. In short, I like to keep both my mind and my body active. I love to travel and explore what the world has to offer. There are so many places I'd like to visit that's it's hard to choose where I'd like to go next, but South America is near the top of my list! Besides travel, I love anything that keeps me outdoors. One thing I've never done but would love to learn is how to snowboard!

Here is about me ….Born in Europe I moved to Canada when I was 15. I have a small but close family and a diverse group of friends and they are an extension of my family. My friends would probably describe me as very easy going, understanding, ambitious and fun. I currently live in Waterloo, spend alot of time in Toronto and I am looking at a possibility to move to TO this Jul...but in the meantime ' the loo ' it is .
I love to travel, whether it’s to adventurous places, nice hotels or something low key I am game…although I will admit when camping I like to have access to a shower :). I like to try new restaurants especially those small �hole in the wall’ places, live sporting events, concerts and clubs but I am also perfectly happy to stay at home ....it’s about the people I am with. I have a great career which keeps me busy, I am driven and I have many things that I want to achieve career wise but I definitely don't ever want it to become more important than my family or close friends. I am doing Crossfit 3-4 days per week so keeping in shape and living a healthy lifestyle is important. I really want to master golfing this summer...and by master I mean get better at since patience with golf is not my strong suit. While being healthy is important, I am not someone that will give up chocolate, ice-cream or pasta for good….who doesn’t like gelato!?
