Where does one start ... I am a professional with a very down to earth personality ..... probably the East Coast in me. I live by the motto "Work to Live, not Live to Work". Although I do have a demanding career I strive to achieve a good balance between the two. Unfortunately this was NOT my motto several years ago and found myself dedicating most of my time and energy to building the career that I dreamed of. I have had some great experiences over the last 10 years with 5 of those years temporarily living in places like China, North Carolina and Alabama. I have also traveled to many other places that I would one day love to revisit with a special someone. Looking back I have no regrets as I am now in a position where I know I am ready for a relationship and have much to offer to a relationship. I am both emotionally and financially stable and at a point in my life where I "want" someone to share my life with, not "need" someone. I would much rather be alone and happy then to be in a unhappy relationship.
WHAT AM I LOOKING FOR:
As I said above, I am not looking at just settling for anyone. I am looking for a woman that has stability in her life and knows what she wants out of life. I am looking for someone that is emotionally stable and wants a relationship ... not needs one. I want someone that will challenge me to do new things as well as support me and be there for me under any circumstance. I of course, willing to do the same. I want someone that has a very down to earth personality that can laugh at my sarcastic humor but also can entertain a serious conversation. Someone that can throw on jeans and a t-shirt, or dress up for the occasion ... basically a well rounded person. You would think that this is pretty common, but not as common as one would hope. I believe in a relationship being both an emotional connection and a physical connection. For me a physical connection is not just being attractive ... its the way a woman presents herself, her style, body language, etc.

From my photos you can probably tell that I love to be be active and outdoors. I grew up in Northwestern Ontario so skiing, snowshoeing, camping and canoeing became a part of me. In fact, I miss real winter these days.
I hope to find someone that shares my passion for exploring new places, being outside and traveling and is also looking for their best friend and closest confidante. I like to be that special someone's biggest supporter who will always have their back and hope to find the same. Are you good at rolling with the punches? There are certain things that just don't deserve getting upset over. It's more fun to laugh at those moments! And I do like to laugh... A lot.
I am grateful for my job that I love and the home I have worked hard on. In fact, i'm pretty handy these days. You may want to meet me just so you can borrow my tools...but please don't let that be the reason for winking at me. ;) And even though I can use a tile saw, I still like to put on a dress once in a while.

I really enjoy my life...I have an amazing family, great kids (two boys, 14 and 5), a nice home, good job and I wake up pretty content every morning! I'm active, enjoy all different types of physical activity from yoga to running to weight training and I love the outdoors. My family and friends are very important to me. I think that they would say that I'm fun loving, caring, loyal and independent and am looking for the same in a partner. Someone to just have fun and laugh with!
I'm in a good place with my career right now, I really enjoy my job (I don't mind going to work most of the time, lol).
For fun I like to go out for dinner and drinks, see a movie, see live bands/concerts, go to see professional sports games (of any kind - hockey, baseball, football etc.). I also like weekend road trips/mini vacations but I'm also okay with just hanging out at home. I'm pretty much good with anything.
