I have a decent job here that i enjoy and i'm appreciated and respected by the bosses because of my work ethic and a good attitude. So whether i'm giving it my all at work or playing sports, and leading in a ballgame, or at trailing by a run,i play hard til the finish and have fun, and hope for the best. If your motivated and keep a good attitude results will come, but have to accept the ups and downs that come.along the way.
I like to be funny and make others laugh, and have a close family and its very important to me.. I enjoy the outdoors and like to go out once in a while for a nice dinner or movie and would travel more in the future, as most ladies like to do.. But generally i like to spend time together at home around the house enjoying the simple things.I listen to all types of music and its motivating and for me it gives energy and a good mood. I think its important to mention that i have no bad habits like smoking or gambling, but i have the odd social drink like most people.

First off, what is my favourite colour. Read on to find out. :-)
I have reached a point in my life where compromise is OK but compatibility is better. Life is too short to always be giving and never receiving. I am now doing what is best for me and more importantly for my son. He really does mean the world to me. He is 13 and lives with his mom but I see him every Wed and every other weekend. I have a good relationship with my ex as we both want what's best for our son. We have also moved on with our lives so no baggage here.
So if you are not interested in a man that has a young son, then I am not the one for you.
I thought I would mention "I can't believe I am 50!" Lol. I feel so much younger and people have said I look younger as well. You are only as old or as young as you think and feel and i think and feel so much younger! :-) I also am better in person. For some reason the camera just isn't as kind to me as it should be!! Lol.
I believe in honesty, respect and above all trust. That is something that is not given but earned through the discovery of each other. I am still one who gives and if i find that person with whom a relationship can be complimentary I will go to the wall for them and even through the wall if I have to!! Too many people in this world simply go about their lives and do not appreciate what they have and the wonderful gift of life itself.
I always smile and say hi to everyone I meet. I hold doors for others and I try to make as many people as I can feel valued. Perhaps this is old school but it is the way I was raised. I am comfortable in my own skin and have a great career. I love getting up in the morning. Well most mornings. Lol. I am however by no means perfect and I do get upset and even angry when confronted by constant negativity. It drives me nuts!! Everyone has their good days and bad days but constant complaining is not a character trait that I can endure nor wish to. I love going to the gym. 7 times a week and more if i can find the time!! Love free weights and of course lot's of cardio. Eating healthier as well. But not too crazy. Life is all about balance. I am in the best shape of my adult life and I have even found my abs again. Was looking for them and who knew they were there all the while! Lol.
I love to travel and sun destinations are high on my list. I have been on 3 cruises now and they are a blast! Europe is also high on my list of where I want to go. I want to see Paris and Rome. Also the Pyramids of Giza.
Well enough about me. If you are a positive person that appreciates all that life has given you (good and bad) then perhaps we could find the joy in being 2 people in this world instead of one. I am also looking for someone that likes to take care of themselves. You don't have to be obsessive but someone who is relatively fit and likes to lead an active lifestyle appeals to me.

**Important point**: I appreciate the winks and e-mails but please be relatively close. I have come to understand that long distance relationships simply cannot work for me at this time. Durham Region or Toronto is best. No more than an hour's drive. I know that there may be someone out there that i may miss out on because of this but for me, right now, this is what i need. In a few years when my son is older, who knows. Please respect my request.
