I'm a musician (by hobby, not by trade) I play with various bands from time to time just for fun. Music is very important in my life. Ideally you are a musician too or at least musically inclined. You must have a positive attitude about life. Ideally, you have a smile that lights up a room. I need someone like that because I often have a hard time seeing the glass half full. Most women find me attractive as far as I can tell and I can be quite charming I'm told but you'd have to be th judge of that. I'm in better shape than most guys my age (have some love handles I'd like to get rid of) but don't go to the gym or anything of that sort. I would like to start Yoga, it interests me. I practiced Tai-Chi many years ago and really don't know why I stopped! You will be conscious of your appearance but not a slave to fashion or makeup to perfection. You'll be just as happy in a sweat shirt and blue jeans a you are in a hot mini skirt and heels. You don't need to be the center of attention and you are not "high maintenance". I will ALWAYS be there when you need me and I am always there for my friends. I'm also the kind of guy who stops to help strangers who need help, that's part of the core of who I am. You never lie to me and I won't lie to you. You can trust me with your life, If I can't trust you with mine, I'm not interested (hiding surprise birthdays, and other "little white lies" obviously don't count).

Meet a soulmate from Whitby, Canada. So… let me say first, I’m a father of 3 grown children, my oldest 21, & fraternal 18 year old twins, who I dearly love, but seldom get to see. I’ve been single for quite some time by choice, mostly because of the dedication to my children’s well being during their formidable years & I wasn’t going to subject them to a barrage of turnstile relationships. I was never a player and the vows of marriage were so imbedded, that I couldn’t …or wouldn’t move on.
I put a high priority on honesty, trust, respect, & faithfulness. I am an active sports enthusiast and enjoy playing hockey, golf, & most other forms of recreational activities. Attention to personal grooming has always been an integral part of my make up. I prefer casual dress but am comfortable with putting on a shirt/tie, some cologne, & going to an occasional function. I’m somewhat shy & reserved at first, but can get involved & be witty when relaxed with the right crowd or person. Definite type “B” personality traits, but random flashes of “A”, jump out now & then. “Always a Gentleman” with manners. I show respect for everyone, not just women and the elderly. Holding doors, offering up a seat, please & thank you, come naturally. Patience is probably my strongest asset, which unfortunately, sometimes leads itself to procrastination or indecisiveness at times. I posses a pleasant demeanour and a good sense of humour, which often lends itself to laugh at all my own inadequacies.
I’m well trained with where the hamper is kept and the purpose its serves, also, that the vacuum doesn’t respond to the TV remote, no matter how may times you change the station. I’m qualified in the safe operation of those two large noisy appliances in the basement, & have excellent detective skills finding the note left on the fridge to turn on the stove on when I get home... I’ll see it…. when I get my ice cubes. Treasure hunt maps are not required when looking for a screwdriver, scissors or cork screw, the bathroom floor doesn’t resemble “Joe’s Barber Shop”, & the latrine is always left flushed with seat lid secured in the horizontal position.
Qualities that I am looking for in a companion consist of someone who takes pride in her appearance, yet is comfortable in casuals, but looks forward to turning it up a notch once & a while. (paint & heels). P.S.–I don’t get jealous, just more appreciative (Note-see: Michael Buble: Save the Last Dance for ME!) Although it may be a bit shallow, like most men, I too, need the initial physical visual stimulation first, to get to the next stage of someone’s inner beauty. I love it when a woman wears perfume, but not to intoxicating, a warm heart-felt smile, a calm demeanour, an air of confidence, but above all, a genuine true belief in being honest. She enjoys leisurely sporting activities…a former Olympian is not a prerequisite…when a woman shows small signs of affection in public. Cuddling is nice, but I’m not a security blanket. I’ve have never been fond of tattoos/body piercing, but would be acceptable, if discreet. If drugs are part of your lifestyle, then you should move on to another profile – sorry. Financial & employment status is irrelevant. I’m here for the companionship. If this sounds like were on the same page, then I’m open to see where it goes. It may take time to develop, but deadlines are not in my mating schedule. I thoroughly enjoy & miss the benefits of giving/receiving the pleasures that accompany a one on one bonding, loving, mutual friendship. I have recently signed on, without a subscription or current picture(s) yet. Started this out of curiosity originally & will see what transpires. Most pictures were 2 -5 years old & that wouldn’t be a fair or realistic image for your evaluation. I will try getting something current uploaded in the future.
