I am a outgoing, fun loving, loyal person, who works hard for a living. My friends would say that I am funny,spontanious, very outspoken,witty, and warm..Recently separated, I am looking to find someone who enjoys the same things that I do. I love my life! Just want to add to it!
My guy needs to be honest, funny (if you can make me laugh, I'm yours!), hard working, sensitive (but not wimpy), Tall.. I am 5'9 and close to 6 feet or more in heels... may sound shallow, but that's just a personal preference, confident, but not cocky, down to earth.. i know everyone says that.. but are they really? :)
Sounds like a tall order (excuse the pun) but I know what I want, and I think that's a good thing!

I like to travel and would like to see a whole lot more. If you're energetic and like adventure then I'm in, I do like downtime too, a comfy night in on the couch once in a while is great.

Although I am very social, I also love a lot of downtime, usually to read history books, but sometimes just for a good old-fashioned romance novel. I am not much for winter weather, but do enjoy a cozy and romantic evening in front of the fireplace. I am also very creative and express this through painting, drawing, and writing.
Soooooo many favourite movies...Bridges of Madison County (some really steamy scenes in there); The Notebook (there must be a Noah out there for me); Ghost (RIP Patrick); Meet the Fockers (wasn't Barbara Streisand amazing?!); the Proposal; and that new Crazy Stupid Love was hilarious.
Music is also really important in my life. From the smooth and sultry sounds of Ella Fitzgerald and Billy Holiday; the meaningful ballads of Simon and Garfunkel and John Denver (yes I know not everyone enjoys him as much as I do), and even Elton John's "A Little Word in Spanish"; through to Shakira's "Hips Don't Lie" (where can I learn to dance like that!!)...of course I will always be an old rock girl as well...still love the Stones, Guns and Roses, the Eagles, Meatloaf, The Doors, and of course Stevie Nicks. I also melt a little whenever I hear Delilah by the Plain White Tees.
I love to dance and take classes whenever I can...I am looking for a ballroom and salsa dance partner (hint hint!!) To keep in shape I do Qi Gong, Yoga, and I recently discovered Zumba dance workouts on the wii...too much fun!!

Let me start by saying I love my life and do live it awake and consciously. I am in a great place to begin a new chapter. I am a strong, (but mushy heart-ed) independent, self sufficient woman who is certain of herself and of what she wants in her life both for the future and in a significant other.
I am ultimately looking to begin by developing a great friendship that can build the foundation for a loving and fun-filled committed relationship with that one special person. (yes, that soul-mate thing):-) Worse case scenario - you got a new friend!
I'm free-spirited by nature. (yes I love nature and I'm free) but what I mean is - I thrive on enjoying life each day and all that it has to offer. Being active and living an active healthy lifestyle is deeply valued. I can be found at the gym 4 days a week and in nature - hiking or by the water.
I LOVE laughter and still a big kid at heart - I enjoy moments of being silly and goofy and am a very playful person. (it can be controlled - no worries and I know when to be a grown up and serious too :-)). I still like to try to do cartwheels when the urge hits, and have been known to hug a tree now and then - Guilty yes! I admit! - I am an optimist at heart and look for the positive in absolutely everything - no matter how tragic - I can find it.
On a serious note: (although I'm smiling ear to ear) I am very attracted to men who have done their own inner reflecting. Who are on a parallel spiritual and/or value path, who are easy going and love to laugh, are kind, have a sweet-nature, playful, considerate, and value friends and family :-)
