Meet a woman from Ontario, Canada. I'm currently finishing my masters degree at York in developmental psychology, and will likely be going for my PhD. But, please don't worry, it's not the psychology where I can read your mind or tell you what kind of problems I think you have. I love reading and learning about almost anything, and I love being around people that I can learn from. I also live to travel. Pretty much every penny I make that doesn't go towards living expenses is saved for my next vacation, which is hopefully gonna be New Orleans or Amsterdam, I can't decide, but I am open to new suggestions :)
I'm definitely not a "lets go to the athletic facilities and work out all day" kinda girl, but I do like skiing, going for walks, and being outside enjoying a beautiful day, especially if it's on a sailboat. I definitely enjoy trying to play new sports. Am I good at them? Usually not, but I have fun and that's what counts :)
I am also a firm believer in karma and the golden rule. Treat people how you'd like to be treated, and good things will come to you.
So, if you are looking for a girl who is ambitious, has a fantastic relationship with her family, is pretty much liked by everyone, enjoys trying anything new, and is kinda pretty then I'm your girl. However, if you are looking for better seen not heard blonde trophy model girlfriend that you can brag to your friends about, then you have to keep looking. However, once you meet me, I think you'll see I am worth bragging about :). And I have to say, I don't understand you guys that say you want a relationship with a fun smart cool woman and all of those other good things but then settle simply for a pretty face. Remember, beauty fades but stupid lasts forever.
In terms of what I'm looking for, as a woman I don't just look at appearances. Yes, attraction is definitely important, but not everyone is attracted to the same thing, and I find I tend to be attracted to intelligent funny and tall men :).
One final thought. People come into your life for a reason, a season, or a lifetime. All three types are a good thing. Let's see which type we are for each other :)

Meet someone special from Canada. Hi! I'm back on the dating scene so I've decided to give this another try.
A little bit about me: After completing my Masters degree in Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Inter-Cultural Communication Issues, I was hired to work in the field for the Government. Although its never a dull moment I've enjoyed every minute of it!! On my alone time, i enjoy catching up with friends and family in the comfort of my home. Nothing beats a great conversation with great company and a nice meal (which I enjoy making myself BTW :))
Like a mini-wheat, there are 2 sides of me ;) 1) I enjoy the spontaneous days of jumping in the car and ending up where the wind blows me. 2) I also enjoy the downtime's: I love picking up a book and reading in the park. . I've just moved back to Toronto after living in the UK for 6 years, and I'm really looking forward to settling down here in Toronto. I'm an archaeologist (or an archaeological scientist) and thoroughly love being outdoors, whatever the weather might be like - but I also love chatting with my friends over pints of beer in a cozy pub.
A few more tidbits about me:
-I'm in love with proper, cold Canadian winter (sadly not this winter) - southern English winters just don't cut it for me
-I really like whisky, especially the Balvenie
-I travel a lot and I hope I can meet someone who'd be able to join me on various trips around the world
-My allegiance lies with the Toronto Maple Leafs, even though they aren't playing very well these days
-I love driving - spent 3 weeks at the end of 2011 driving through east and southeast US (over 10000km)
-I can play 5 musical instruments, and my singing isn't that bad either
-I can shovel a near-perfect 1m x 1m square, resulting from years of excavation and field work
-I love to bake and cook, and I even enjoy cleaning up - but totally dislike vacuuming
