I couldn't live without fresh air, a passport, a camera, books and the wonderful people in my life. I like to stay active, mostly by playing outside, and during all four seasons. To name a few of my favourites..hiking, canoeing, x-country skiing, camping, biking, moksha yoga. I am on a dragonboat team during the summer months.I would probably be into surfing, if I ever live near an ocean.
Wanderlust is a favourite word of mine. So far..my more far flung adventures have brought me to India, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji and Costa Rica. My latest trip was to visit some good friends in Scandinavia in the fall.
That being said, I am also happy exploring Ottawa and finding new restaurants and coffee shops to hang out in. A few of my favourites in and around Ottawa would be Raw Sugar Cafe, Black Sheep, Pub Italia, Barrymore's and Lieutenant's Pump.

I went to a performing arts school where I majored in Dance and minored in Music and Mime. True story. I was on crutches 6 times when I was a kid, all relating to Dance: 3 for genuine injuries, 3 for faking injuries to get out of crappy musical theatre performances I loathed.
The Care Bears once taught me that sharing rhymes with caring, a mantra I still believe in years later.
I think a good sense of humour makes life a lot more amusing and generally enjoyable. I think it`s important not to sweat the small stuff.
