Meet people from Quebec, Canada. My closest friend says I am "most definitely quirky, excellently fun, open-minded, ridiculously intelligent, erudite, and good for a caper or two."
I've recently moved back to Qu?bec after spending a few years in Newfoundland, and I'm looking for someone to have some fun with (and maybe something more down the road). Fun in this case is anything from board games to skydiving - I like quiet evenings as much as I like adventure. I write poetry but I promise not to make you read it unless you actually want to.
In terms of what I'm looking for... good question. I'm not hugely experienced, so someone who'll be patient with me is a good start. Do you pun? I pun. Be warned, my puns are stinkers. I'd love to meet someone with whom I can engage in wordplay and talk about books. A co-op partner for Diablo 3 (when it comes out, and when I've actually got it) would be great - I love to play video games. I don't promise skill, but I do promise enthusiasm and witty MST3K-style commentary on my own suckitude if I turn out to be sucky at whatever we're playing.
This feels like I'm writing a job description. Successful candidates will either enjoy science fiction or tolerate enjoyment thereof, be understanding of my insecurities and honest about their own (everyone has them. Nobody's perfect!), feel free to gently mock my singing in the car, and be polite but not condescending (I can open my own doors if I get there first!).
