I exercise regularly but I'm in not that much into sports. I enjoy being active like roller-bladding, hiking and biking but also really like hanging out with my friends and family, trying out a new restaurant (thai or indian maybe), seeing an action movie, attending a summer festival and reading a good sci-fi book. I can be feminine and elegant in a dress and heels as well as easy-going in jeans and flip- flops which is usually the case on week-ends. I'm interested by anything pertaining to real-estate and home renos which is kind of funny since I'm the girl that will always have leftover pieces after assembling IKEA furniture...
My friends describe me as honest, loyal, caring and respectful and I expect the same of them. I'm very resourceful and creative as proven by the fact that I once used a pair of skis to move a chest of drawers down a flight of stairs... Don't laugh I'm very proud of that one... I have a good sense of humor and can be very playful but only around people I know well. I can be a bit shy at first. My current dreams: leaving for a road trip, traveling to Europe, going to comi-con in san diego.
What I look for in a man is someone who is easy to talk to, down-to-earth, confident, patient and supportive. He has to be my best friend and be open and curious about people, life and new things. The place where I feel most zen is at a chalet in the middle of nowhere, with no electricity, no phone, no internet, chopping wood, enjoying the aroma of morning coffee being brewed, the fire burning in the wood stove, and the pancakes and bacon cooking on top.
The times I feel most exhilarated is on take off, whether it's a Boeing-727 or a little Cessna-182, the moment where you lift off this earthly plane and look out the window enjoying the sensation of separation from the busy world happening below. Floating through the clouds, feeling free, with nothing tying you down. Or being in the Swiss Alps, where you feel the mountains shielding you from the outside world. So, I can be quite the social butterfly, and other times a bit of a hermit. I like experiencing life from every extremity.

I like to travel by all means, in big chic hotels or backpacking, there is places that are better explored with a tent and a backpack and others with all the luxury of a big hotel.

I have a dauther that is also active, she follows me doing hiking, biking, swiiming, kayaking, camping, etc. I have her every other week and I have a very good relationship with her father. We were married for 11 years and now divorced for 7 years.
