But hey, you can’t change a plan unless if you have a plan, right? Coming to Saskatchewan (this January) was not part of the master plan I had drafted, but I’m glad I came. Things have been great so far.
I would say that there are 2 key values that distinguish who I am. 1) Diversity. I’ve moved around a lot (North America, Europe and Asia). These multicultural experiences have had a profound impact on my perspectives on global issues by helping me see different spotlights. 2) Simplicity. My education to date has been very one dimensional (undergrad degree in Commerce followed by an MBA). As you can imagine, I value structure and clarity to an extreme – I prefer PowerPoint slides and bullet points over essays and paragraphs any day!
I tend to spend a considerable amount of time at the office, not because I’m a workaholic, but because I truly enjoy what I do. Having said that, I maintain balance. Outside the office, I love partying with friends, driving around meaninglessly, catching-up with family, going to the gym and staying at home to read. Traveling is big favourite of mine. I just returned from Argentina a week before writing this; Google �Perito Moreno Glacier’…it’s absolutely incredible.
Moving around so much has had its effect on relationships. Although I now call Saskatoon home for the foreseeable future, I’ve learned that life is random and am looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable and not afraid of change. Furthermore, I find people who are passionate about something (art, music, sports, could be anything!) to be energetic and purposeful when getting up every morning. This is another quality that I value.

I try to live the fine line between being as mature as my age dictates, but still young enough at heart to enjoy the simpler things, I try to not let outside forces decide who I am, and i'm quite opinionated. I love, and seek intelligent, controversial conversation, but dont get the wrong idea, im no einstein, but I love to learn, and I love original, compassionate views on subjects of interest.
I'm currently a 3rd year apprentice in a trade which I enjoy, I love building things and working with my hands, I also love learning about mechanics and vehicles and how things work, i'm very curious by nature :p
as for music and entertainment, I generally listen to older stuff like the eagles, zeppelin, beatles, metallica, stuff like that. I dont watch alot of tv, i dont even know why i pay for cable : but if i do watch something its either the history channel or the discovery channel, im a bit of a nerd that way, i have a strong interest in space, history, and different culturescountries basically as long as im learning something or laughing i watch it, not too big into the fictional crimelaw shows *cough* boring!!
