Word on the street is that the men of Vancouver are outdoorsy types and in many ways I’m no exception, mind you there is a lot more to me than just this. I’m an engineer by trade and I’m very career minded. Yes I can build a bridge. Yes I can sign your passport. No I can’t build a flux capacitor and turn your car into a time machine (only Doc can do that). I love to travel and my career has afforded me the opportunity to live in some interesting places. Manhattan. The Yukon. Abbotsford… Ok - just kidding about Abby, but my all time favourite was the Utah desert as it gave me ample opportunity to explore my passion for extreme mountain biking.
A guilty pleasure of mine is the fashion industry and I’m a sucker for designer threads. Ed Hardy isn’t fashion, it’s a fad. Another guilty pleasure of mine is the environment, hence why living downtown, I choose not to own a car. In no way has this ever held me back from getting to where I need to go. I love to stay fit, I hit the gym regularly and as manly as I am, I could challenge you to a Pilates contest any day of the week. I have a great sense of humour, I love to laugh and live life to the fullest.
In terms of dating (that’s why were all here rocking the internet, isn’t it?), I’d like to meet a woman that can keep up and integrate into my life as much as I can integrate into hers. It's just the ways we pursue our goals to get there are different. In today's crazy fast paced cyber age, where people don't even have the right amount of time for themselves, we seek refuge, peace, tranquility, love, harmony, understanding, patience, caring and compassion in someone else's warm embrace! We all have expectations, and we all hope to find our other half, our mate, true love, best friend, fantastic lover, beloved wife/husband in that one person! We do keep going on relentlessly after possible failures, strongly believing that our time is coming when we'll actually meet that great person! But it makes me wonder if we have raised the bar too high sometimes, or if other times it is a good idea to compromise, give up or sacrifice parts of ourselves, of who we really are just so we can say somebody is (hopefully) waiting for me at home? Questions. A lot of them. And yet a lot of us are complaining that we are still alone! Who's fault is that? Who can we put the blame on? Circumstances? Questions again. And still the compass of our hearts points us undoubtedly towards this one goal: we wanna give love and be loved! So I think we should make that a little easier for each other!

I am happy having the wind knocked out of me at 50 below, being dragged by a dog team through overflow or shaking my booty under the lights of a big city club.
