Meet someone special from Yukon, Canada. This is my second effort to describe me for this website. I think that I am a good man, committed to values that are important to me. I am physically fit and remaining so is important to me. My friends would say that I’m loyal, kind and generous and close friends often try to set me up with a friend of theirs. I own two businesses, one a consultancy and one a supported independent living enterprise which together, provide me with the independence and freedom I cherish. I’m grateful for the serenity and spirituality I’ve developed in my life and am passionate about social and economic justice which led me to run for political office in 2006. I’m looking for a companion who has some balance in her life, is committed to her fitness and wellbeing, and who has an adventuresome spirit. I’m with Mother Theresa that important qualities are empathy and a sense of humour (I've done stand up comedy), Yoda in “Do or do not. There is no try”, believe that most offenses are about stealing something, and that forgiveness is essential to my tranquility. I respect Nelson Mandela for inviting his jailers to his inauguration, Jack Layton for his values and perseverance, and Lady Gaga for being so very daring.
I'm looking for someone with a sense of adventure (maybe biking in Thailand) and some balance in her life who wants to share new experiences even if they are in familiar places. I love my life in the North because of the intimacy of the town and the wilderness I can see every day. So if canoeing, attending at a great jazz or other concert/play, biking, fitness, and travelling are your idea of fun, I just could be the man you are looking for and you the woman I seek.
