I love to laugh and not take things too seriously ,unless they generally are, but that's pretty rare in day to day life as most of my experiences have been great learning adventures. I'm extremely grateful for all the amazing people and places that have been in my life and I'm really passionate about music and creating art of all kinds. Meet a soulmate from Nova Scotia, Canada. Funny, purposeful, and occasionally a crankass when things don't go according to plan is how my friends would describe me. I've come to this point in my life and I find myself wondering "where did the time go?" Most of my friends are married with children, and I'm still living the bachelor lifestyle. Not that I'm complaining, because theres lots to love about it, and I wouldn't change anything about my past because it what makes you who you are today.
Having said that, it would be awesome to have someone special to share all the fun with. I love to travel whenever I can. My dream is to buy a large sailboat and pick a destination with a dart and a map. Until then though, I settle for commercial flight. I also like try different foods, experiment with cooking and having friends over to be the subjects of my cooking experiments. I've lost a few on the cooking journey, but its all part of the adventure. I don't do the bar scene anymore, and your more likely to find me enjoying a few drinks with a group of friends on a patio.
I stay in shape by running and going to the gym, bicycling on occasion and surfing. Being in shape is important to me, and I do try to live healthy. If you're a solid couch potato and are parked in front of the tv everyday for hours then we probably won't click. If I'm going to be honest, the person I'm looking for I have to be attracted to on every level...physical and definitely intellectual. I've tried dating ladies where they had one or the other, but it doesn't work. There has to be that necessary chemistry because you just can't change the way you feel.
I've met a few very sweet ladies over the last year, but so far, I haven't been able to find one where all our idiosyncrasies work together and you just realize all of a sudden your in something really special. I don't really want to settle for anything less. Thats me in a nutshell.

I work hard and am very adventurous when I play. I enjoy scuba diving, boating, exploring islands and beaches, all water activities and sports in general. I've been known to parasail on occasion, but during the winter months will spend most of my play time body building or cross fit training. I love physical activity in general whether at work, play or in a relationship.
