I've got a BA in Law & Society (with a History minor) from U of C, currently working in financial services, which has its moments. I love hockey and it's a huge part of my life - I'm a goalie, I follow it religiously, and recently started coaching a bit as well (though I'm not playing at the moment due to a knee problem). While the Flames are my favourite team, I somehow became a Maple Leafs fan too; there is no insult about being a Leafs fan that my friends and family haven't thrown at me twice already. I've got a fairly random and often twisted sense of humour; I tend to think society (and media in particular) is way too concerned with political correctness. I'm also a bit (okay, a lot) of a geek, but I'm not gonna get into that.
Outside of that, I've got a dog that I adore and spend a lot of time with. My friends and family are hugely important to me, and many have had a profound effect on my life in some way. I try to get out with my friends as much as possible, and visit ones in other cities (mainly Victoria) whenever I can. I'd love (and plan) to travel a lot more than I have to this point.

To preface this, I would say I am equally split into 4 parts: a nerd, a traveling enthusiast, a humor lover, and a dream chaser. I have a thirst for the most abstract knowledge that is out there.
